A water stove is a system that works by heating water, enough to produce a heating source for a home. Different things are used for heating the water:
* Renewable or Organic sources
* Fossil Fuels
Renewable or organic sources are used to heat water in a water stove. These resources include: solar, wood, manure and general animal waste along with other natural debris.
These resources are renewable and reliable. There will always be animal waste and natural debris from trees and of course the sunshine that is brought to us every single day. Other types of organic fuels include ethanol and biodiesel. Ethanol is derived from corn and is claimed to be easier to obtain and much cleaner than fossil fuels. The same is true for biodiesel; this product is made by making fuel from biomass, again making it something that we can easily renew without exerting natural components.
Fossil fuels are those energy sources that have been most commonly used and are harmful to our environment. Fossil fuel comes from the breakdown of biomass after millions of years of decomposing and turning into a tarry like substance called crude oil, which has to be refined into other products that are then burned through machinery. The most commonly known is of course gasoline, the type we pump into our cars, lawnmowers and recreational vehicles. Others include oils, gases of different types, and coal.
Water stoves have the capability of being used with either type of resource of organic or fossil fuel. Using a water stove in your home can greatly reduce the cost of electricity and maintain a much more ecological way when used with organic sources.
So what can this do for your home? Firstly, let’s look at water heating. When using a typical water boiler, it is necessary to use either an electric water boiler or a gas water boiler, both of which are costly and harmful to our environment. A water stove would of course have heated water and this can be used for your home. The heated water produces enough steam to create energy, much like a geothermal plant, and can help heat your home in other ways.
One such way would be hydronic floor heat. The water stove heats pipes that run underneath the home and creates heat to help warm the inside of the home without the use of an air conditioning system which blows hot hair in homes. Another use is of baseboards. These are small systems and are again heated by the hot water through the piping system to help collect and redistribute the air in the room. Cold air is taken in while warm or hot hair is released back out.
These systems have been used for many years and are also used in different countries where gas and hot water are not available through typical or convenient ways. Retailers are available mainly in cold weather states. Although the price can seem high at first the benefits of saving money in the long run are well worth the investment and effort that is put into these excellent heating systems.
